Bjørgelian - a warm and easy tour in cultural landscape and forest

Nordigard Bjørge has organized a great tour up the hill behind the farm, known as Bjørgelian. It's an atmospheric walk through alternating cultural landscapes, deciduous forests and open pine forests, with several fine vantage points along the way. This is a hike that suits most people - families, exercise enthusiasts and those who want a quiet afternoon stroll.

The hike starts from the yard at Nordigard Bjørge and ends back in the same yard, but via a circular trail that enters from the opposite side. The path is well cleared and partly marked, and it's easy to find your way.

Along the way, you can enjoy views from several points - including towards Bærland, Valskarsnuten and beyond Seljordbygda. This is an area with both tranquillity and views, where you can take time to stop, look and just be.
