Tjorbu is a beautiful area on Lifjell. Here you'll find a number of lakes such as Vestre-Tjorbuvatn, Vesle-Tjorbuvatn, Store-Tjorbuvatn, Møreketjønn, Tjorbutjønn and others. You can take the trip up to Grimås on the outside towards Tvitjønnan or on the inside towards Grimaren and Røysdalsnutan. The walk to Tjorbu is difficult at first, but it flattens out and the paths are then quite nice to walk on. The lake has fish and you can buy a fishing license. Many great places to pitch a tent. Lifjell is a lovely area for both hikers and those who want to spend the night.
