You have to look after your wooden babies! Mine are safe and sound up in Finndalen. They're lying there in a row, as if the sun once caught them all unawares. The walk up from Bygdardalen to Høna is a steep 2.5 kilometres. But if you can handle the effort, the reward is great! The view from Høne takes your breath away. Then, the beauty of the elongated Finndalen valley with Hestenutane at the centre. "Breathtaking" as we say, so good in Seljordsk. The stream at the centre is intense and wild at the moment. It swings here and there, downwards. And more water comes rushing in from the edges. The herds of horses and the silluette you see at sunset are reminiscent of much larger mountains out in the world. Finndalen lies at around 1000 metres above the tree line. If you're lucky, you'll hear the lynx, ouch!
