← Trail Tips
Røysdalsnuten is of course located in a clearing. In a huge clearing. This is Lifjell's highest point at 1291 metres above sea level. It's best to walk from Grimås in Grunnnngsdalen and up via Grimaren. There are many formations on the steep slopes. However, there are great trails and they are well signposted, so you'll find your way easily. There's an ascent of 773 metres from the Grimås car park and a total length of 12.5 km. So, this is no small hike. This is the most beautiful part of Lifjell. At the top of Røysdalsnuten, you can see almost the entire Lifjell plateau. Today it was up to 26-27 degrees centigrade, but certainly a little cool wind on the peaks.
