A nice trip in the middle of the week. With weather like today, the forest and mountains are crying out for you. Good temperature and light long enough to get up to the heights. Dyrlandsheia and Vetrhusnutane, up towards the conservation area, have good views of the mountain range north-west towards Gryvlun, Fyljomstaul, Svafjellet and Brattefjell. You can also see Mefjell and Marigrøi from there. The nearest peaks are Brattlinuten and Knurrlinatten, which can be reached from Minnesjorddalen in Svartdal. Lots of wilderness here. There are many areas like this in West Telemark, so you just have to get out and see them.
