Hanakamjuvet on a rainy afternoon can be a wonderful experience. Fresh forest scent, full streams and lush flora. This old road is a well-known hiking trail and a lovely recreational area for most people. The carriage road up the gorge is about 2 kilometres up to the junction at Bygdardalen. Remember to be careful on the rock above the waterfall and by the large stones along the road when it is slippery. It's a long way down. Calculate 1 hour's walk there and back to the car park down by Kivledalsvegen.
