Slåkja is a gem that is now very accessible to anyone who wants to go hiking. New road all the way to Slåkjavatnet with great parking both along the road and at the end of the bridges. A short 800 metre walk across the marsh to the cabin field on the Sauland side. It's great to see so many people making use of this "new" area. Our "Little Alaska", offers a fresh and healthy nature experience of the highest degree. No mosquitoes or gnats today.
