Kyrkjeskogen forest in Flatdal.
This is perhaps the most famous hike in Flatdal, after Bindingsnuten. This fairytale forest is well used for play, sports and expeditions by children in the village. And it's no wonder, as the dense forest is made up of dirt-covered rocks and forest floor. The ski trail makes a wide, beautiful road the whole way. A small bend up around Hagabrekka and down under the ridge makes a great round. Park at the school and follow the good signposting on the other side of the road. This is also a low-terrain hike that is suitable for most people.
