One of the gems in the local neighbourhood is Raudbergnuten in Nordbygdi. This semi-spoilt nature area far up towards Ubydalen has brilliant views of Seljord. A very interesting angle towards the town centre and Seljordsvatnet lake. Good angles to the mountain area at Skorve, Mælefjell, Lifjell, Brokefjell and back towards Roholtfjell and beyond. The tractor road and path up from Kodde is almost completely bare. There are a few "twists and turns" here and there in the upper part that require manoeuvring around. The summit of Raudbergnuten is just under seven hundred metres at 695 metres above sea level. With a length of around 5.2 km round trip and 400 metres of elevation gain, you're in for a treat.
