Raudbergnuten (695 metres above sea level).
There are so many fantastic forest walks in the local area. Many have views, as a reward for hard and heavy climbing. This route has that, too. It's not that long. It's about 2 kilometres from Kodde to the top. Then with a climb of 385 metres. Here there is a tractor road that goes over to the old road. One can imagine the traffic here in ancient times. When you get about 1.3 kilometres up the hillside, you should walk out towards the edge to follow the mountain upwards. If you turn around and look, you'll have a new and interesting vantage point over Seljord town centre and up towards Nordbygdi. Behind Raudbergnuten, the area has recently become a forest reserve. You have a good view of Skogsodd and its distinctive peak. Raukleiv and Årnoteren are in full view. You can also see Mælefjell and Lifjell with Bjørgefjell and Grunningsdalen. Behind you can see Ordalsåta, Kyrkjeberget and Ubyfjellet. It's almost bare. A little twisty in the back. Today there was a strong wind at the top.
