It doesn't get any nicer than this at Årnoteren! Warm and mosquito-free. The sun's rays in the forest are breaking through twigs and cracks in the rocks. The local walks are still unbelievably beautiful now before the high mountains get ready. Year after year, Årnoteren, at 700 metres above sea level, is a great hiking destination. Semi-easy with 290 metres of ascent from the new car park down at Raudkleiv ski resort. It's about 2.5 kilometres to the top. The view is impeccable with views of Skorve, Mælefjell, Bjørgenuten with Lifjell and up towards Skogsodd. Here you can sit for a long time on the bench and enjoy a cool breeze. You should spend 2-3 hours including the hike and break. Total length 5 km.
