Astrid Night (1215 metres above sea level), Lifjell.
Days like this don't come easy on a mountain. The trip went via Ballongfararsteinen and up the hillside towards the nice paths that run along there. Great, fine details in nature. If you look around all the time, you'll find lots of nice things. Small streams, strange cottages and beautiful rocks. Lifjell is beautiful from all angles. From Manheim there are several ways up, including from Ballongfararstein and from Veslestaul. These slopes at the front may be a little steep, but if you follow them lengthwise, back and forth upwards, you'll be fine. There are also a number of ridges and hills you can turn round on to look out towards Bøslettene, Øverlandsheii and Seljordheii. You also get to see a bit of Seljord. There are more than 670 vertical metres to climb and around 10 km if you take a good round trip. Days like this are a must!
