Out into the forest and moorland. What a lovely autumn day it turned out to be. A lovely temperature of 8-10 degrees centigrade, slightly cloudy with flashes of sunshine and no wind at all. The area from Dyrlandsheia over Gaupetjønn up to Tarbjørnstjønn. Incredibly beautiful forest terrain. Onwards towards Fugleskortjønni and up to Nystaulnuten (911 metres above sea level) with views of Åmotsdal in both directions. Descend from there to Fugleskori with the tufts there. Then up the nutane towards via Svarttjønn and the marshes towards Finnebu. There I visited my good childhood friend Leidulf Dyrland, who has this fantastic place. A snack, coffee and a good chat, before I made my way down to Sletteva and home to Vetrhus. a 15 kilometre forest walk. What a sound and what a feeling. It couldn't get any better. The day went by.
