Hattefjell on a fine Friday.
A near and dear area for us in Seljord. This trip is going to be well used this year. And many have already been here. Met several pleasant people. The folk high school had also shown up today. It's almost bare, but not quite. Fortunately, the crowd carried well. A little wind at the top and -2 degrees. But, with a windbreaker it's just good. This hike is short, but steep. Good as a workout for those who need to get their heart rate up a bit. Lots of fun to watch. Skjervåi with its waterfall is clearly visible about halfway up in the forest. At the top of Hattefjell, there's an incredible view of Seljord town centre. But also towards Skorve, Seljordsheii, Lifjell and Grunningsdalen. It's fun to sit and look at all the places you've seen before. Bjørgenuten is almost directly overlooked. Tomorrow the weather will be fine. ☀️ Hiking weather, that is. Have a great weekend!
