Slåkja - hiking in the wilderness. The claws are just as steady this year. They are greyer and lie well down in the terrain. Just as I had planned. Now is the time for nice walks up here. Warm and clear. Views of beautiful peaks with twists and turns. Beautiful forests and marshes. This is our own Alaska. You'd almost expect a bear down by the banks of Grunnåi. The road up Grunningsdalen is just as nice and the car park, by the first bridge, just as big. The trip over the cliffs is about 850 metres. With a short round trip up to the cabin car park and back, the distance is 3 km. A great morning or afternoon hike. Good places to eat your snack.
