Strondefjellet from Århusmoen. You can see this beautiful mountain hanging over Flatsjå on the east side. Well, it's not that easy to see, because you have to walk 4 kilometres almost straight up. In other words, 700 vertical metres up along the forest road from Århus/Skyttarbanen to Århusnuten. From there, there is a path up the mountain before you return to the road. At the end you continue towards the edge. This is perhaps the finest view you can have at this time of year. All the details of Skorveveggen, which you can study to the fullest, can be seen from here. You can't get any closer to Spådomsnuten, apart from being there. The snow melting, bit by bit, on the peaks of Grimås, Såta, Gøysen, Brokefjell and the mountains in the Brattefjell area. A fantastic sight in all directions. In the summer, you can continue towards Doktorhytta, just above, and towards Rustjønnan. It's a marvellous hike, but you have to get the snow off the mountain. Takes a few weeks.
