Had to rush to the doctor today ... up at Dokturhytta above Strondefjellet below Såta. Up in the beautiful terrain in the valley at Listaul. It's brutally steep uphill from Skyttarbanen. But, the tractor road is great to walk on. It has now been extended and graveled up (can't believe they manage it. Good people) almost to the cabin. The view towards Skorveveggen is the best you can find. Strondefjellet's flat rocky mountains with pine trees against the snowy peaks of Skorve on the other side. Magical. You can study every crack and shelf in the rock face there. This is a long and arduous hike. 10.5 km with a climb of almost 1000 meters.
