Bjørgefjell and the Goat Church
Bjørgefjell has so much to offer. With 26 degrees centigrade and glorious sunshine, it's warm in the forest. The road up Borkebudalen ends at Rognestaul at the top of Raudjuv. There, you'll only find the remains of the foundation wall and pipe. However, from here you can walk up the hillside to the third groove and then down into Geitekyrkja at the front. It's not that easy to find, but if you first go to the top of the groove and then head towards the stone wall below, you'll probably find it. This old crystal cave is missing crystals now. But it used to be full. Many people probably have smaller or larger crystal stones lying on their porches around the village. From here, you can walk over the other grooves and end up on Bjørgenuten itself at 875 metres above sea level. As is so often the case these days, it's great to meet lots of hikers!
