About this hike

Dansarsalen is a flat area on the mountainside above Krokan in Seljord. This is a great little trip for young and old. Of course you can dance here, but you can also bring your own barbecue and hot chocolate. The view of Trongklev and Prestegardsmarkene with Seljordsvatnet at the far end. If you look towards the east, you'll see the Grimaren on Lifjell. If you continue from Dansarsalen, you can get all the way up to Karlstaul at Skorve. (An alternative route may be from Prestegarden by the driveway to Venås. From there, you can follow old roads, paths and animal trails all the way up).
