One Gryvle. Fleire Gryvlur. All Gryvlun. There are many of them here and the wind blows from all sides. It's not easy to find shelter from the wind up here. But it's immensely beautiful here. A carpeted landscape between jagged peaks and visual mountain ridges, with a view of the plateau towards Svain. Neighbouring Fyljomsnuten, with Svafjellet and Brattefjell in layers behind. Just across the valley you can see Vålånut. In the other direction, Grunnarstaulnut with Rust (Brenderustfjellet) behind. I walked from Sletteva and up the front towards Kasleroi. Then up the slope to Djupedokk. From there on the ridge upwards with a view of the largest Gryvla. At the top there are pinnacles and thorns. Fun with peaks like this. Not so many of them here in the municipality. It was windy and raining, so I continued down the other side towards Snofonnskar. Found a nice campsite with a view. At 1100 metres above sea level. The next day the sun came out. Warm, or semi-warm without rain. Went down the hillside past the nice little cabin in Djupedokk towards Geitenuten. Down on the detour of Heiåivegen was 1 km to the car at the chain barrier. This was my first overnight stay in a tent in a long time. Very fun to carry a heavy rucksack! 12.5 km in length and 485 vertical metres.
